today was awesome. i walked past the station with mike and we decided to get a train on a whim. we rated sofas. we found the best mattress in the whole entire world. we shared a happy meal. we ate shortbread. we dipped our feet into a pond even though it was FREEZING.
to me, this is what summer is all about. doing things on a whim. on the spur of the moment.

Sounds like a lovely summer...I can't wait for it to warm up here so I can dip my toes in a pond and have a little ice cream with my shortbread
